Instagram account login tutorial
After purchasing or receiving an Instagram account, if its format includes an account, password and 2FA secret, follow the steps below to complete the login.
1. Account data format
A common format is:
account----password----2FA secret
For example:
instagram_username----your_password----YOUR_2FA_SECRET
From left to right:
- Account: Instagram login username
- Password: Instagram login password
- 2FA secret: The verification secret used to generate a 6-digit two-factor code
2. Enter the Instagram account and password
Open the Instagram login page or app, enter the account and password on the login screen, and then select Log in.
If the login asks for an authenticator code, Authentication Code, Two-Factor Authentication Code or a 6-digit verification code, the account has 2FA enabled.
3. Use the 2FA secret to generate a 6-digit code
Open the Account Store 2FA verification tool:

Copy the complete third segment, the 2FA secret, from the account data into the 2FA tool.
The system will automatically generate a 6-digit one-time verification code.
4. Enter the 6-digit verification code
Copy the generated 6-digit code, return to the Instagram login page, enter it in the verification field and confirm.
The code is updated regularly. If it is reported as incorrect, wait for the next code to be generated and enter it again.
5. Suggestions after login
- After the first login, confirm that the account works normally.
- Keep the device and network environment stable where possible.
- Do not frequently switch devices or IPs within a short period.
- Do not share the password, 2FA secret or verification code with others.
- If you need to change account security information, use the account stably for a while before doing so.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a 2FA secret and a 6-digit verification code?
A 2FA secret is a long-term verification key and cannot be entered directly into Instagram's 6-digit verification field. You must first use a 2FA tool to generate the currently valid 6-digit code.
Why does the verification code keep showing as incorrect?
The current code may be about to expire. Wait for the tool to generate a new 6-digit code and try again. Also confirm that the copied 2FA secret has no extra spaces or missing characters.
Will 2FA be required every time I log in?
This depends on Instagram's security verification policy and the device status. A new device, new network environment or security check may require the 2FA code again.
